Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion. A Mild exfoliation leaving skin soft & smooth

Does it? Read on.

I started using skincare product from this famous Japan brand, Hada Labo by bought Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion as my chemical exfoliate.

Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion

I bought this lotion on October 2018, exactly, it’s last year but I just made the review for it. This lotion it not a typical lotion as we know because Japanese people call a toner as ‘lotion’ so don’t be confused. Not a regular toner too. It is a chemical exfoliate toner.

Why I bought it? I always on twitter and follow @twt_kecantikann (follow them https://twitter.com/twt_kecantikann) and then, I don’t remember who asked Kak Iman Abdul Rahim through Twitter about this lotion and I excited about it.

First, because I really want to try chemical exfoliate because I’d never used it before and a lot of people out there said chemical exfoliate is better than physical exfoliate. But as you know, chemical exfoliate divided into two, Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA). You can refers here what’s this.

My skin type is combination, and I want to have a clear skin by get rid of the dullness, whiteheads, blackheads, acne scars, my uneven skin tone. Not forget about clogged pores. So I got confused which one I should use. I don’t want to use both AHA and BHA because it quite pricey for me 😌.

This lotion have a texture like a mineral water or maybe a little bit thicker than water. I found it quite sticky when I pour over my hand, but as it was a chemical exfoliate, of course I used it with facial cotton on my face.

As it claims, it free from colorant, so of course it colorless but I think it scent similar to a glue. Totally smell like glue. But I don’t think it will be a problem for me. I don’t know about you, maybe you’ll think it’s quite annoying.

Now let’s get to know my experience as a beginner to chemical exfoliate by using this toner.

I started using it once a week, nothing happened to my skin which is made me thinking ‘Oh it’s good’. Then I decided to used twice a week. That is when the nightmarishly come to me.

I’m already go through purging when use it. On my jawline. It not that bad. Typically, I’ll happily squishing my pimples like old times and absolutely got a scars on my face. My mom also asked me why I have a lot of small pimples on my jawline. I just stayed quiet.

Just to let you know that when I started using Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion, my skincare routine is not strong enough so that why I had purging when I use it. That times I only started using sunscreen not even a month, that’s it.

I decided to stop using it for a while to build up my skincare routine. Alhamdulillah everything going good for me. There’s no more annoying small pimples and I guess I can say I love this lotion.

  • Make my skin feels smooth and fresh
  • Not experience any redness, irritation, sunburn or over-exfoliate
